A professional life and leadership coach since 2020, Courtney was formerly a music business professor. As a graduate of the CFJ Coaching Success School, she is passionate about empowering men and women to overcome limiting beliefs and adopt healthier mindsets. Over the last two decades, she has been helping college students, colleagues and clients achieve personal and professional success through finding their voice and embracing leadership.
A former pianist and ballet dancer, Courtney has held positions in public relations/marketing at the Bloomington IN Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Indiana University School of Music’s Publicity Office and Musical Arts Center Box Office, and as a grant administrator for Sponsored Projects at Western Illinois University. She was the Director of the Music Business Program at Western Illinois University's School of Music for 15 years.
Courtney partners with her coaching clients so that they have more clarity, purpose and insights to bravely take their next steps forward. Her most recent speaking engagement was at the John Mellencamp Symposium in Bloomington, IN. Named a Top Ten Music Professor in College Magazine, she received an M.A. in Arts administration from Indiana University, and a B.S. degree in Marketing from Miami University of Ohio.
